The story mode chapter of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT features extra Showdown campaign content. With its relaxed gameplay and stylish art style, it's the perfect game to play when you're tired from the action-packed PVP mode. Furthermore, the hero, Tianhai, who can become a gigantic Vajra warrior combined with the exclusive Souljade, can perform a powerful counterstrike combo. Moreover, in Enigma Domain, monsters grow more powerful as you continue to fight them. You will win greater rewards if you defeat more monsters before time runs out.
Souljade can be found in all levels of Showdown with an ice-wielding attribute in this game. Meanwhile, Ice Essence is a limited resource that can be obtained by completing weekly challenges. Ice Essence can impart an ice-wielding ability to those Souljades who do not have it naturally. The more Souljades you equip, the stronger your ice-wielding skills will be. With higher ice-wielding levels, you can do significantly more damage to Astral Aegis and is less susceptible to Frostbite Omens.
There are 30 new Showdown Souljades that have been added, which include the following:
- Seven Ice Souljades of melee weapon.
- Six ranged weapons.
- four other special effects.
- Five Souljades that enhance ranged attack and weaponry chest boon.
- Exclusive Souljades that enhance Temluch, Tianhai, and Matari’s ultimates.
- Defuse dash counterattack and concentrate.
- Defuse combo counterattack and concentrate.
Hyping up the battlefield with new content
As announced during the Naraka Fest livestream, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will shift to a free-to-play model following the game’s release on PlayStation 5 on July 13. Xbox Game Pass subscribers are entitled to a free upgrade of the game, converting the Standard edition to the Deluxe edition.
They will also receive 300 Hero coins, which are used for recruiting characters, and 10 Immortal Treasures, with the latter giving players a chance to snag some rare Extreme skins. Finally, they will obtain the White Viper Spear and the Dual Blades Lacerator — both of which are Legendary weapon skins.
In the next few months, there will be a slew of new content and features for players to keep an eye out on, such as the 12v12 Capture the Spirit Well as well as events and rewards to commemorate the game’s anniversary. The charming fox demon Tessa will also make her debut, along with the all-new Dual Halberds — a deadly weapon that is a cross between a sword and a spear, perfect for players who want to unleash devastating combos on their opponents.
This action-packed title will soon feature a 3D lobby, allowing users to run around the map while waiting for the match to begin.
